“Yes, people love hearing that their investments are growing and they’re making money, but I believe they also appreciate knowing that we genuinely care for them. Our clients become like family,” says Independent Wealth Advisor Jodie Lane. At Greenstone Financial Services Jodie provides expert guidance in wealth building, college planning, insurance strategies, business investment decisions, elder care funding, retirement planning, and estate management.
Joining the Greater Greenfield Community Chamber is an exciting step for the team at Greenstone Financial Services. Full of energy and enthusiasm, they will bring that same spirit to the community. A quick visit to the website’s Team page will give you a glimpse of who they are.
When asked how the Chamber could help her business, Jodie replied with a question: “You know what it’s like when you’re new to the area and don’t always know who you should know?” Of course, you do! So, let’s make it a point, as Chamber members, to introduce ourselves to one another and learn more about Greenstone Financial Services, and help make some initial connections for them.
You might begin by asking Jodie how she builds relationships as a member of other Chambers. For instance, she had a conversation with Mollie Bartelt of Pixologie, Inc. at the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce that inspired a great idea for Greenstone Financial Services. This interaction shows the power of networking within Chambers and how even simple conversations can lead to fresh perspectives.
One thing we know about Jodie is that she prefers one-on-one interactions. She believes these meetings offer a chance to connect more deeply with a person compared to the limited time available at a Chamber meeting.
At Greenstone Financial Services, Jodie has been involved in volunteer work with the Greendale Chamber of Commerce, including events like the community’s Pet Palooza, volunteering at the Greendale Children’s Resale event and being a Reading Buddy for first graders at Highland View Elementary School in Greendale. She expressed her eagerness to learn about volunteer opportunities within the Greater Greenfield Chamber and how she can get involved. This is a great possibility for Chamber members to share what we have going on and what we hope to do in the future—all through the one-on-one conversations with Jodie.
Just as our Chamber is growing, so, too, is Greenstone Financial Services. Currently, they have two empty offices available, which could be perfect for another financial advisor (or junior), attorney, accountant, or insurance-only professional. Jodie says, “We want to grow and we want to spread the word about these spaces.” That translates to yet another opportunity for some of our Chamber members to sit down with Jodie, learn about the growth she’s envisioning for Greenstone Financial Services, and then help her develop those all-important connections. At the same time, of course, she’ll also be learning about your business.
When asked if there was anything else she would like to add, she mentioned two things. “First, we offer trust and estate planning services. We partner with lawyers, allowing me, as an advisor, to explain the differences between trusts and wills and when each is necessary. I can also help clients avoid probate, title accounts, and designate beneficiaries.”
“Second, we focus on education and are looking to visit classrooms to teach financial literacy and host & Lunch ‘N Learns at workplaces. We can cover any topic within our expertise that employees are interested in. If you’re interested in exploring these possibilities, please reach out to me at (414) 533-5353.”
Greenstone Financial Services is excited to extend an invitation to all Chamber members for their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 26, from 4pm to 6 pm. The event will be held at their office in the Associated Bank Building at 4811 S. 76th St., Suite 400, in Greenfield. This open house promises to be a wonderful occasion, featuring appetizers, beverages, raffles, and excellent opportunities for networking and fun. Don’t miss this chance to connect and celebrate with Greenstone!

Welcome to the Greater Greenfield Community Chamber, Jodie! We look forward to connecting with you and making a positive impact together.
